Real estate was the natural progression of a career and a marriage for Carol Browne.
Originally trained as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Akron Ohio, Carol spent her young married
years as a full time medical office nurse. For many years though, throughout this time, she was
always busy assisting her husband with various real estate projects. This partnership naturally developed.
Originally from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Carol grew up as the youngest of six children. As a product of a close family,
her mother and one of her older sisters were nurses. So, with much encouragement from home, it seemed only natural for
her to go to nursing school and be trained in the nursing field. Real estate was probably a very distant shot at
this time of her life.
In 1979 Carol and Scott were married and immediately moved to Naples Florida. In Florida, Carol quickly established
herself as a very efficient and dedicated medical office nurse working in both pediatric and OB/GYN offices all the while
her husband Scott was establishing his education and experience in the real estate and construction business.
Much of this rubbed off and she became more and more involved in the family business. Carol and her husband moved to
Asheville in 1993.
Originally licensed as a North Carolina Real Estate Salesman in 1995, Carol spent her early years in real estate working
with buyers and sellers but always had a constant focus on marketing and selling the homes and neighborhoods that Scott developed.
After a period of inactivity in the business while she focused on raising her 3 sons, Carol reactivated and obtained her North
Carolina Real Estate Brokers license in early 2008 and has since set out to focus on assisting buyers and sellers with an
emphasis on working with our senior population. As a designated Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES ®),
Carol has completed specialized training in this field.
"I have always enjoyed working with and assisting our seniors", says Carol, "They have so much to offer and bring a wonderful
perspective to our lives’."

ownership is at the heart of those things important to me."
